Trader Joe’s Palak Paneer

palakpaneerTrader Joe’s carries several types of Indian dishes in shelf stable pouches. These are a good value and combine well with each other. Serve with rice or naan bread for a complete meal.

How much you like these will depend on how much you like Indian food in general. It’s also important to note that these don’t compare to dishes at a good Indian restaurant. However, since I’m not very likely to cook Indian food from scratch, they’re a good option for our Indian feasts at home.

These pouches are also convenient for camping/backpacking, some they don’t need refrigeration, are light weight, and heat up quickly. They’re even decent at room temp in a pinch.
