Trader Joe’s Indian Food

indianWe have a large Indian meal at least once a week using items from Trader Joe’s. It’s easy, inexpensive, tasty and filling. Our feast typically includes vegetable biryani with dumplings, Palak Paneer, punjab choley, vegetable pakoras, garlic naan and mango chutney. However, I’ll sometimes just microwave a single pouch of TJ’s Indian Fare for a quick lunch or snack.

TJ’s carries Indian foods in the frozen foods section as well as on the grocery shelves. Note that the boxes of Indian Fare make great camping/backpacking foods since they don’t require refrigeration and cook easily or can be eaten at room temp in a pinch.
